PRESIDENT

A rising junior at DeBakey High School, Evania is deeply passionate about raising awareness of period poverty and breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation. As president, she hopes to build on the organization’s success and foster new collaborations to create a lasting, meaningful impact in the community. She is excited to plan new events and guide the organization’s future while working toward achieving SDGs 3 and 5. In her free time, she enjoys photography, building Legos, playing tennis, and listening to Selena Gomez.

PUBLIC RELATIONS CHAIR

Serena is a rising junior at Elkins High School. As Public Relations Chair she is excited to create different period educational posts so girls are able to have an online platform to learn about their periods and to expand the Period Pact’s mission. She also aims to spread awareness for period poverty through different drives in the Houston area and wants to decrease the period stigma by creating more safe spaces for girls to talk about their periods through educational workshops. In her free time she loves to sing, dance, and play piano.

EDUCATION CHAIR

Sri is an upcoming sophomore at Elkins High School and a passionate advocate for women’s rights, education, and youth leadership. As Education Chair for Period Pact, she hopes to spread awareness about menstrual health. She strongly believes that every girl deserves the right to feel confident, supported, and comfortable in her own body. She hopes to create a more open and informed environment where people feel empowered to learn, ask questions, and advocate for themselves and others. Outside of advocacy work, Sri enjoys playing basketball, dancing, drawing, and reading in her free time.

LOGISTICS CHAIR

Valeria is a rising Senior at St. Agnes Academy and a youth advocate passionate about menstrual equity, youth in decision-making spaces, and gender equality. She is interested in how the climate crisis disproportionately affects women by limiting access to essential health resources, and as Logistics Chair, she is excited to spearhead initiatives and advocate against period poverty. She has led initiatives in her school advocating for increased period products in schools and is focused on reproductive health research. Valeria is excited to further prioritize women's health in her Houston community and is thrilled to be collaborating with such inspiring leaders.

OUTREACH CHAIR

Bianca is a junior at Rice University studying English and Political Science. She is extremely passionate about policy and social issues, particularly those that affect minority and underrepresented groups in Houston, TX. As the Outreach Chair for The Period Pact, Bianca is committed to highlighting the different areas that we, as an organization, advocate for and the different ways we ensure that every individual feels powerful in their own being, whether that be through consistent connections with other organizations or direct partnerships with schools. At Rice, she is honored to be a part of many organizations working towards advocacy in general, as well, and cannot wait to bring that same energy to The Period Pact!
